Neurological Rehabilitation

Neurologic or ‘neuro’ rehabilitation specializes in the care and management for patients with disabling neurological disorders. These conditions can take the form of diseases of the brain, spinal cord and nerves.

Neurologic injuries can have a significant impact on daily life. From being able to move, feel, touch, learn and talk, these disorders affect your ability to feel whole and weaken your independence. Through neurological rehabilitation, you can not only regain your well-being, but also make an optimal functional recovery so that you can take back control of your life.

Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC) relies on a versatile team of neurologic rehab specialists. The team is comprised of a physical therapist, occupational therapist and speech/language pathologist so that treatment can address the entire spectrum of challenges that a neurological injury or disease can cause.
