Residency Programs

Why Loma Linda University?

Apply to one of our residency programs to learn in an environment that emphasizes support for patient mental, physical and spiritual health. Our committment to patient wholeness sets our organization apart from other learning institutions.

At Loma Linda University Health, our experienced health care professionals are committed to helping you succeed in your graduate medical education. We offer diverse clinical experiences and guide you through a collaborative learning environment where you are challenged to find ways to improve patient care.

Our residency programs give you the unique opportunity to learn at the only Level 1 Trauma Center in San Bernardino County and the Inland Empire. Our Children's Hospital has the only level 3 NICU in the region and is the only area facility equipped to provide pediatric transplants in Southern California.

Health Care in the Community and Abroad

We encourage you to take what you have learned and apply it in the global community. Community-Academic Partners in Service (CAPS) and Students for International Mission Service (SIMS) find ways for you to serve locally and internationally, helping you share the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ around the globe.

Comprehensive Medical Education

Studying at our academic medical center means you will participate in the latest medical research and have access to state-of-the-art medical equipment.

Clinical Trials

Residents are encouraged to become involved in the breakthrough discoveries happening in our Clinical Trials Center. Researchers are working year-round on clinical trials in a number of research areas.

Medical Simulation Center

Our Medical Simulation Center is one example of how we combine technology and practical clinical simulations to create a comprehensive learning experience.
