Dare Adewumi

Dare Adewumi, MD

Dr. Adewumi received his medical doctorate from the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine in Augusta, Georgia. He completed his neurosurgery residency training in June 2014. He completed a fellowship in Spine Surgery at Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, Washington and also a fellowship in Neurosurgical Oncology at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Adewumi is currently at Hunstville Memorial Hospital in Woodslands, Texas.

Sean Armin

Sean Armin, MD

Dr. Armin received his medical doctorate from University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine. He completed his neurosurgery residency training in June 2009. He completed a fellowship in Advanced Spinal Surgery with concentration in Minimally Invasive Techniques from University of California, Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Armin is currently at the Neurological Surgery Brain and Spine Center of Southern California in Riverside, California.

Robert Ayer

Robert Ayer, MD

Dr. Ayer received his medical doctorate from Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his neurosurgery residency training in June 2013. He completed a fellowship in Cerebrovascular and Skull Base Neurosurgery at the University of California, Irvine, where he also served as clinical instructor. He also did a Complex and Minimally Invasive Spine fellowship at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Ayer is currently at the Brain & Spine Institute at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

R. M. Baule

Raymond M. Baule, MD

Dr. Baule received his medical doctorate from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He completed residency training in June of 2004 and has joined a private practice in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

Peter Bouz

Peter Bouz, MD

Dr. Bouz received his medical doctorate from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California. He completed his neurosurgery residency training in June 2014. He completed a fellowship in Endovascualr and Open Vascular Neurosurgery from Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Bouz is currently at the Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, Ohio.

Jan Eckerman

Jan Eckerman, MD

Dr. Eckermann received his medical doctorate from Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. He completed his neurosurgery residency training in June 2010. He completed a fellowship in Stereotactic Radiosurgery at Stanford Hospital in San Jose, California. Dr. Eckermann is currently in private practice in Bakersfield, California.

S. Figuereo

Santiago de Jesus Figuereo, MD

Dr. Figuereo received his medical doctorate from the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is currently completing his research experience and will be the first neurosurgery resident to have received his PhD during neurosurgery residency training at Loma Linda University Medical Center. After completing an elective in epilepsy surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, he joined the faculty and worked at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Philadelphia. In 2006 He moved his family to Florida and is now in private practice in Miami.

S. Ghostine

Samer Ghostine, MD

Dr. Ghostine received his medical doctorate from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. He completed his neurosurgery residency training in June 2008. He completed a Complex and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Ghostine is currently the Chief of Neurosurgery and the Director of Neuroscience at Riverside Community Hospital (RCH), in Riverside, California.

Anthony G. Hadden

Anthony G. Hadden, Jr, MD

Dr. Hadden received his medical doctorate from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine, Loma Linda, California. He completed his neurosurgery residency training in June of 2005. After graduating, he completed a spine fellowship at the Cedars-Sinai, in Los Angeles, California under the direction of Dr. J. Patrick Johnson. He has a private practice in Bend, Oregon.

Joseph Keen

Joseph Keen, MD

Dr. Keen received his doctorate of osteopathic medicine from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. He completed his neurosurgery residency training in June 2016. He completed an enfolded fellowship in Skull Base at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Keen is currently a fellow in Neurosurgical Oncology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Esther Kim

Esther Kim, MD

Dr. Kim received her medical doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. She completed her neurosurgery residency training in June 2015. She completed a fellowship in Cerebrovascular and General Neurosurgery at Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Kim is currently an Assistant Professor at Loma Linda Univeristy Medical Center in Loma Linda, California.

Jason Lifshutz

Jason Lifshutz, MD

Dr. Lifshutz received his medical doctorate from the University of Miami Medical School, Miami, Florida. He completed his residency training in December of 2002. He went on to complete a spine fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin under the direction of Dr. Dennis Maiman. After practicing a year at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, he relocated to work at Stanford University in California.

Thomas P. Lo

Thomas P. Lo, Jr., MD

Dr. Lo received his medical doctorate from University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. He completed his neurosurgery residency training program in June, 2011. Dr. Lo is currently at the University of California, Irvine in Orange, California.

Delmore Morsette

Delmore Morsette, MD, PhD

Dr. Morsette received his medical doctorate from Finch University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his neurosurgery residency training in June, 2007. After graduating, he completed a Spine fellowship at University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Morsette is currently on staff at Kaiser Hospital in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Murad received his medical doctorate from Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his neurosurgery residency training in June 2010. He completed a Complex and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery fellowship at Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Murad is currently in private practice in Pueblo, Colorado.

Dr. Olaya received his medical doctorate from the University of California, Davis School of Medicine in Sacramento, California. He completed his neurosurgery residency training in June 2012. He completed a Pediatric Neurosurgery fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Olaya is currently at Children’s Hospital of Orange County and Children’s Hospital of Orange County at Mission Hospital in Orange, California.

Bob Shafa

Bob Shafa, MD

Dr. Shafa received his medical doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his neurosurgery residency training in June of 2007. During his last year of residency, he completed an infolded fellowship at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, Washington under the direction of Dr. Mark Newell. He is currently a member of the UCLA neurosurgery department.

Dr. Spooler received his medical doctorate from Rosalind Franklin University/The Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his neurosurgery residency training in June 2012. He completed a Complex and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery fellowship at University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Spooler is currently at the Providence Medical Institute in Mission Hills, California.

David Westra

Dr. Westra received his medical doctorate from University of Texas in Houston, Texas. He completed his neurosurgery residency training in June 2010. After graduating, he completed a Complex and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery fellowship at Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Westra is currently in private practice in Ventura, California.

Dr. Woods received his medical doctorate from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California. He completed his neurosurgery residency training in June 2011. He completed a Complex and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Woods is currently at the Advanced Neurosurgery Associates in Murrieta, California until October 31st, 2016 when he will be taking the position of Physician Leader of Neuroscience at Kettering Health Network in Kettering, Ohio.
