Welcome to the Loma Linda University perioperative services web pages. Our department's goal is to provide patients and their families with the highest quality of integrated care during the continuum of their perioperative experience.
Perioperative Services is a dynamic department, 400 employees strong. As part of an academic institution our employees participate in the implementation of cutting-edge surgical technology and assist in the latest procedures. Our services range from organ transplants, joint replacements, and minimally invasive cardio-thoracic/vascular surgery to deep brain stimulation and image-guided sinus surgery.
- LLU Medical Center operating rooms (MC OR) The MC OR provides level I trauma services. It has 16 rooms and provides all other surgical services, including an organ transplantation program and pediatric surgery.
- Outpatient Surgery Center OR (OPSC OR) The OPSC OR is an eight-room state-of-the-art facility for outpatient surgery and a center of excellence for ophthalmology
- Loma Linda University Medical Center East Campus Hospital OR (ECH OR) The ECH OR provides OR services for the East Campus Rehabilitation hospital. Both inpatient and outpatient orthopedics and neurosurgery cases are done here, including total joint replacements.
Location/area of service
Loma Linda University Medical Center serves the Inland Empire area of Southern California. This vast region is a good representation of the wide variety of the state--going from the mountains to the deserts of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
