Navin Jaipaul, MD, MHS

Navin Jaipaul, MD, MHS, is Chief of Nephrology at VA Loma Linda and Associate Professor of Medicine at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. Dr. Jaipaul is a graduate of Cornell University and the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia, followed by a fellowship in Nephrology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. During his fellowship, he was a recipient of a NIH National Research Service Award which allowed him to complete a dual degree in Clinical Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He has been a mentor to residents and fellows interested in chronic kidney disease clinical outcomes research. He practices general and transplant Nephrology and has been recognized for developing one of the most successful kidney transplant programs in the VA.
